My story
I was born and raised in Kanye village, the capital of GaNgwaketse 30 years ago. I adopted the culture ,norms and dialect of my maternal family. My grandmother loved fashion so much. She would get a designer dress for every function. I would hear say “ ngwana wa ga Lesego wa nyalwa, gate Khai ee gagolwang ke Leteisi la Kgaka ee thokwa” ( Lesego’s daughter is getting married and the material used used the brown dotted German print).
That is why the name of Brand is called Khai... it mean Fabric or clothing in Sengwaketse. We are not only intending to provide African print material, but we shall provide any material from across the world.
The piece scripture that resonates with our brand is ( Proverbs 31:24-25) and it says.... “She makes fine linen, and sells it: and delivers girdles unto the merchant..... strength and honor are her clothing”
