But protecting children is not the responsibility of parents and government alone.

🏢 Organisations must protect.
🤝 Communities must protect.
📢 Leaders must speak up.
❤️ And every Motswana must care.

We challenge Botswana to move from concern to action.

To listen. 👂🏽
To believe them. ❤️
To recognise the warning signs. 🚩
To know what to do when something is wrong. 🛡️

Sometimes, a child doesn't need another person to simply say, “I love you.”

They need an adult who knows how to keep them safe. 💛

With the child protection challenges we continue to face in Botswana, we cannot afford to remain spectators. 🇧🇼

We cannot wait until another child is harmed before we ask:

“What could I have done?”

We need to prepare ourselves BEFORE the moment comes. 🙏🏽

That is why Cherished Beings Trust is calling on parents, caregivers, teachers, volunteers, community members, faith leaders, professionals—and everyone who cares about children—to join us for:
