We are a group of Quilters that meet on the 4 Wednesday of the month to do all things "quilty"! We also have select Moda Fabrics and notions for sale.

Like our page and follow along with us. We often post pictures of Fabric we have for sale as
well as free patterns and quilting tips and tricks. We would love to see pictures of what you are working on as well
and you don't have to be a member of Nimble Thimbles to follow along :)

Hello Quilters,
Just a little inspiration to help keep us connected and happy. This quilt top was in the magazine America Pathwork and quilting December 2019. It is called make a trade which some of us are participating in Nimble Thimbles club. All fabrics are from scraps in my stash and bins which I now have successfully cleared out. Stay healthy and safe quilters. 😊✂️😊

Well Ladies, here is the Stashbuster Challenge 2019 finally completed. This challenge took me over a year to complete the piecing and then Karen quilted it for me. This challenge was from Border Creek Station. I must admit it was addicting, for months this was the only quilt top I worked on and then I took a break for a bit over the summer. I had to have it done for October, I just made it!!!! Phew. My other confession is that it hardly made a dent in my stash... but it did use up a lot of odd pieces here and there. Happy sewing ladies.

Hi ladies,
Here is a picture of what the BOM quilt will be for the fall session of NT. The quilt measures approximately 56”x 74” and is using the fabric line called Wit and Wisdom by Kim Diehl
The BOM will run for 8 months starting in October 2019 and will be $30 per month for the fabric and instructions. You will be required to provide your own cream background fabric(s) and therefore can choose prints that you like 😊
If you’d like to participate please message, phone, email or call Karen directly and arrange for your $30 deposit. The deadline for registration is Monday June 3.

Hello ladies,
Look how cute this baby quilt is with the striped binding! Just want to thank all the ladies that helped put the quilt tops together a few months back. Club night is this Monday and we have a guest speaker from Quilts of Valour. Please bring friends or family that might like to hear Lana speak about this noble cause. We also have QOV hug blocks for sale $3.00 per block. The cost is just to cover the fabric that was purchased to make the kits. We have 36 kits for sale and they will be sent up to Edmonton once completed. Hope to see you all Monday night. Enjoy the snow!🤭✂️✂️✂️

Hello ladies,
The Christmas party is coming up soon December 12/18 @6:30 pm. If your last name starts with A-M please bring a savory dish, N-Z please bring a sweet dish. Hopefully everyone is having fun putting together the ugly sweater mug rug, if you missed the last meeting ask a friend to share the pattern and if you don’t want to exchange just come and enjoy yourselves. It has been suggested that we just exchange mug rugs and not add hot chocolate or mugs.
If anyone would like to bring a bottle of wine please do so.

Just a reminder that registration fees need to be paid by December so we can keep having our meetings at the Church. If possible please bring cash as we do not have the square up and running right now.
If you are unable to attend the party send us a message it would be greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Hello ladies,
I finally finished my snowflake and just love it. Another Christmas postcard turns out I was short one. This one I used red thread around the edge and it just makes the card pop. Happy sewing✂️✂️✂️

Hello ladies,
I am posting supplies needed for our Monday Club night coming up. We will be doing a hands on project so this is what you will need to bring. A light and a dark fabric each fabric needs to be 6” by WOF I . I have posted a photo of my chosen fabrics. Christmas fabrics would be good,sparkly fabrics would also be good. Please bring sharp scissors or a rotary cutter and a small mat if you have one, a 6x6 ruler and anyone who has a glue gun please bring. Please bring your show and tell. There will also be a draw for two small Santa’s that I have made. Hope to see you all on Monday night. ✂️✂️✂️
