Confession: I’ve been avoiding 3D Puff embroidery for years. 😬

My husband has been telling me to try it, but I was convinced it would be complicated and I’d mess it up. Today I finally took the leap and thought, “What’s the worst that can happen? I ruin a hat?”

Well… I didn’t ruin a hat. 😂

In fact, it was surprisingly straightforward, and now I’m wondering why I waited so long. The finished look is amazing, and I think I’ve found my new embroidery obsession.

Who else puts things off only to realize they weren’t nearly as scary as they seemed?

DTF durability test: passed. ✅

I made this shirt over a year ago.

Since then it’s been worn in the shop, covered in grease, soaked in sweat, washed countless times, and put through everything a hard-working kid can throw at it.

The shirt? Definitely showing its age.

The print? Still holding strong.

No special treatment.
No hand washing.
No babying it.

Just real life.

When people ask me if DTF lasts, this shirt is my answer.

I’ve given www.stitchera.ca a bit of a refresh, and I’m so excited about how it’s coming together. There are still some finishing touches to add (more photos and credit card payments are coming soon!), but it’s starting to feel much more like the Stitchera I envisioned.
