Here is my Fruit Slice Bag by Heidi and Finn Patterns. This is a Canadian designer who designs kids clothes, plush animals and the popular Pocket Pals series.
I used flannel for the watermelon applique and linen fabric for the outer and cotton woven for the inner fabric. I chose to use webbing for my straps on both. I used minky for the kiwi applique so it is very soft. Cotton woven for the rest of the bag. I also used woven interfacing and fleece. This definitely makes a softer bag then if I used foam or a thicker fabric. There is also pocket on the inside.
This bag is a great size for a young lady. It is also a quick sew! Great for anyone who is just a beginner bag maker or anyone who needs a simple bag. These bags includes a cute leave keychain made from soft minky.
