Le voilier qui apparaît dans le symbole de la Ville d’Aylmer, est animé par les forces naturelles du vent et de l’eau et porte respect au passé et intérêt du présent. Le bleu du ciel, le bleu poudre qui reflète le patrimoine et le bleu du lac Deschênes s’harmonisent au vert qui représente les nombreux espaces verts de la municipalité. Jeune et dynamique, l’identité visuelle de la Ville d’Aylmer a remporté le certificat d’excellence du concours Graphisme Québec en 1991 et s’est classé finaliste lors du concours des relations publiques du Québec également en 1991

The sailboat that appears in the symbol of the City of Aylmer, is animated by the natural forces of wind and water and brings respect to the past and interest of the present. The blue of the sky, the powder blue that reflects the heritage and the blue of Lac Deschênes harmonize with the green that represents the many green spaces of the municipality. Young and dynamic, the visual identity of the City of Aylmer won the certificate of excellence in the Graphisme Québec competition in 1991 and was ranked as a finalist in the Québec public relations competition also in 1991.
