Hi, my name is Maverick Sutherland, and I am 7 years old. I love staying active and trying different sports. I’ve played hockey and baseball, and this summer, I’m excited to play soccer too! I also enjoy music and gaming, which always bring me so much joy.

I have been modeling since I was 4 years old, and it has been such an exciting journey. This year, I had the incredible opportunity and very grateful to have been sponsored by Spice’d Childcare Services, who helped make my Milan Fashion Week. Thank you for believing in me and helping me live one of my biggest dreams. and it was truly one of the greatest experiences of my life. It was more than just walking on the runway, it taught me to believe in myself.

Over the past year, I faced some struggles with confidence, but SCI helped me overcome them. They encouraged me to keep shining, believe in myself, and never be afraid to be who I am. Their support gave me the courage to grow stronger and more confident.

This is now my second year with EKFW, and I absolutely love everything they teach us. Being part of EKFW and SCI feels like a dream come true, a place where I continue to learn, grow, and become the best version of myself.

An inspiring first day of Edmonton Kids and Teens Fashion Week EKFW 2026 Training with our First Batch of Official Models presented by Spotlight Couronne Internationale Inc. and SCI PH in partnership with Spice’d Childcare Services.

Today was more than just the beginning of a runway journey, it was the start of discovering confidence, building dreams, and embracing the beauty of every unique story. We are truly excited to discover, train, transform, and help bring their stories to life on the runway.

Seeing the excitement, happiness, and genuine smiles on their faces inspired us why we do what we do. Behind every smile is a dream waiting to bloom, a voice waiting to be heard, and a story ready to inspire others. This is not just fashion , this is confidence, growth, friendship, and believing in something greater than yourself.

A heartfelt thank you and special acknowledgment to Jummy Brown the CEO of SPICE’d Childcare Services, our SCI Certified Mentors, dedicated volunteers, and supportive parents. Thank you for your time, trust, and unwavering support in helping us create meaningful opportunities for these amazing young individuals. Hi I’m Aria, I’m 11 years old and I have been modelling for 6 years now. I love fashion and the confidence walking down the runway gives me.

My hobbies? I love soccer, running and riding my bike. I still love to make things like jewelry and clothes, but I have really gotten into using technology to make creative and funny videos. I love singing and dancing. And I love spending time with my family and friends.

I joined soccer this year and love it, and I'm learning that good communication is the biggest part of what makes a team great. I realize now that this is the same for the runway. Even though we may own the runway one at a time, we all have to work together as a team to make it amazing. That's one of the reasons I'm so excited to be coming back for another season of EKFW and seeing all my friends at SCI. Over the years SCI has made me feel so comfortable in my abilities and helped me grow on and off the runway. Whether in Edmonton, Calgary, or even New York, I have learned a lot over the years and still find every time I do another fashion event is another chance for me to grow. I took a lot of our activities, discussions and the things I learned with SCI through trainings and events home with me.

I have developed a lot of patience and learned that I can be a big part of helping others with their goals. I have two younger sisters who I help my Mom and Dad a lot with and have found that they try to be just like me a lot of the time. I keep this in mind when I do things. If I commit to something, I follow through. If I make a promise I keep it. And when I do something, I give it my all. I'm hoping this sets a good example for my sisters and other kids that might feel how I did when I started. A little nervous, shy, and sometimes not wanting finish what I started because I was scared. I think I have come a long way since then, and I love where I am, and where I am heading.
I can't wait to Bloom Beyond the Horizon!

Michael is a smart, kind, and ambitious young boy with big dreams and an even bigger heart. One day, he hopes to become a famous model and a successful YouTuber, inspiring others through his creativity and confidence. He is a loving brother to his siblings, a sweet young boy, and someone who always shows kindness to the people around him.

Michael enjoys dancing, skating, and riding his bicycle. He loves meeting new friends and believes in treating everyone with kindness and respect, especially older people.

Although Michael is naturally shy, he found the courage to step out of his comfort zone when he joined EKFW Bloom Over the Clouds in 2025. Through the experience, he gained confidence, discovered his potential, and learned to believe more in himself. Now, he is excited to return for EKFW Bloom Beyond the Horizon 2026, ready to continue growing, learning, and shining brighter than ever.

Michael lives by the saying, “If you can do it, why can’t I?” A reminder that no dream is too big when you believe in yourself. Hello everyone! My name is Heleina, and I am 5 years old. I am a happy, playful, and loving little girl who enjoys dancing, dressing up, making new friends, and smiling wherever I go. I love fashion, taking pictures, and expressing myself with confidence and joy.
One special thing about my journey is that even at a young age, I always try my best to be brave and shine in everything I do. I enjoy learning new things, walking on stage, and showing kindness to others. Every experience helps me grow more confident and happy.
One challenge I have overcome is being shy around new people and big crowds. With the support of my family and SCI, I learned to become more confident, smile proudly, and believe in myself. Now I enjoy meeting new friends and showing my personality on stage.

I joined EKFW because I want to explore my love for fashion and modeling while having fun and learning new skills. SCI has helped shape me into a more confident, disciplined, and expressive little girl. It taught me to believe in myself, be respectful, and always do my best.

Sean is a charming, friendly, and incredibly talented young man who recently turned 12 years old. He has a deep passion for sports, with basketball being one of his favorites. Alongside this, Sean has been actively practicing Taekwondo for more than 8 years , a true reflection of his discipline, dedication, and commitment to the sport he loves.

Beyond his talents, Sean is a kind, respectful, and responsible son, as well as a loving brother to his siblings. He deeply admires people who treat others with kindness and respect. As one of the older children in the family, Sean is always willing to lend a helping hand, especially with light household chores, showing maturity beyond his years.

When Sean joined EKFW 2024, he gained confidence and valuable experience as a runway model, learning to walk with poise, confidence, and grace. Since then, he has been featured in numerous fashion shows across Canada and the USA, becoming increasingly comfortable both on the runway and in front of the camera. Sean is personable, easy-going, and someone who naturally thrives in collaborative environments.

Sean dreams of becoming a police officer one day while continuing his journey in the fashion industry. He lives by the inspiring motto, “Don’t stop until you are proud,” a reminder to keep moving forward despite challenges and never give up on his dreams.

Sean is truly grateful to be part of the SCI family, a place that continues to inspire, guide, and support him as he grows into the best version of himself.

Jessica is truly one of our rising stars , a very ambitious, talented, and passionate young dreamer. At just 7 years old, she already dreams big: to become a supermodel, a renowned fashion designer, a makeup artist, and a painter. Even at such a young age, we could already see her strong passion and incredible potential in the world of modeling.

Jessica began her modeling journey only last year after watching her brother, Sean, enjoy walking the runway. Inspired by his experience, she decided to take her own first step into the world of fashion.

During her very first appearance at EKFW Bloom Over The Clouds, Jessica immediately captured the crowd’s attention with her confidence and remarkable runway walk. Just one week later, she competed in Little Miss FAGPA 2025 in her hometown of Grande Prairie, Alberta and proudly brought home the crown.

Jessica earned multiple major awards, including Best in Production Number, Best in Sportswear, Most Photogenic, Best in Filipino Costume, Best in Gown, Ms. Q&A, and ultimately, Little Miss FAGPA 2025.

For someone so new to the industry, Jessica has already made us incredibly proud. In just over a year of modeling, she has shown professionalism, determination, and a heart full of dreams. Her journey reminds us that no dream is too big when passion and hard work lead the way.

She strongly believes in the saying: “Small steps lead to big results.”
