Congratulations to Jessalyn Pearce, one of the EKFW 2026 “Bloom Beyond the Horizon” Awardees at the Annual Edmonton Kids and Teens Fashion Week, powered by Spotlight Couronne Internationale Inc. and Edmonton Kids Fashion Week, in partnership with SPICE’d Childcare Services

Meet Jessalyn, affectionately known as Jess. At just 10 years old, Jess is already proving that dreams have no age limit. Bright, ambitious, kind-hearted, and full of determination, she embraces every opportunity with confidence and joy. Whether she’s on the soccer field, in the swimming pool, at Taekwondo practice, or creating her own stylish outfits at home, Jess approaches everything she does with passion, creativity, and a smile.

For Jess, modeling is more than just walking the runway, it’s a way to express who she is. She loves fashion, enjoys practicing her runway walk, and has a natural confidence that shines both on and off the stage. With her creative mind, vibrant personality, and unique sense of style, she’s always ready to turn ordinary moments into extraordinary ones. For Jess, the world isn’t just a runway, it’s a place where she can inspire others simply by being herself.

What makes Jess truly special is her heart. She believes that confidence shines even brighter when it’s shared, and she enjoys encouraging others to believe in themselves. Her playful and confident personality is reflected in some of her favorite sayings:

✨ “Being extra is my superpower.”
✨ “Why be normal when I can be amazing?”
✨ “I love being me because there’s nobody better at it.”
✨ “I don’t just model—I own the stage, and the camera too.”

Jess’s modeling journey began with Edmonton Kids Fashion Week, Calgary Kids Fashion Week, and Fashion Gala Canada, where she discovered not only her love for the runway but also a deeper confidence in herself.

Through SCI PH, her dreams continued to grow beyond borders as she proudly walked on some of the world’s most prestigious fashion stages, including New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, and Milan Fashion Week. She was also a proud recipient of the SPICE’d Childcare Services Scholarship Program, which gave her the opportunity to participate in Milan Fashion Week.

From local runways to international fashion capitals, every step of Jess’s journey is a reminder that big dreams can begin with one courageous walk. None of these achievements would have been possible without the unwavering love and support of her family, who have stood beside her through every fitting, rehearsal, challenge, and milestone—believing in her every step of the way.

Jess’s journey is proof that confidence isn’t about being the loudest person in the room, it’s about believing in yourself, working hard, staying kind, and never being afraid to dream bigger than your fears.

She hopes to inspire other young dreamers to embrace their uniqueness, pursue their passions with courage, and remember that no dream is too big when you have the heart and determination to chase it.

Because sometimes, the brightest stars don’t just shine, they inspire others to shine with them. ✨
