Welcome to the team, Puneet! 💛

Earlier this week, we welcomed a new design intern, Puneet who will be shadowing our lead designer, Reema (on the left). Reema has been leading pattern design at LOOMY since 2022 and her childhood dream was to become a fashion designer. ✨

Puneet is from northern India and is already hands-on preparing a shipment of wool roving vests with the team.

We’re excited to keep growing team LOOMY and sharing our journey with you. 😊

What a week! 🌷
Over at our headquarters in Ludhiana, Punjab, our knitters are hard at work fulfilling your spring orders.

On Friday, our lead designer Reshma led workshop for 40 artisans on the intarsia method and different techniques to change colour in knitting.

Our knitters practised using the iconic Indian Paisley motif using lots of vibrant colours. They also shared their own techniques to change color.

LOOMY is about bringing our collective of over 100 women together to exchange knowledge, support their families, and craft beautiful work. 🩷 thank you for joining our journey!

We had such a great time meeting you at in Vegas last week!
Big thank you to all our new clients and friendly faces who visited us for making it such a successful first show in the US for us. We can’t wait to see our hand knit sweaters on you - now onto the fun part! Packing orders and lots and lots of knitting for our artisans in Punjab, India.

The nostalgic Parakeet Pullover reimagines a common Indian motif from childhood into modern day. We recreated the pattern and hand-knitted it in 100% lambswool. 🧶

This parakeet pattern was found on tablecloths, placemats, quilts, and more. Do you recognize it?

Our moss green sweater features pink + yellow paisley inspired by traditional Indian prints.⁠ Hand-knitted in Punjab with soft natural fibres sourced and spun in India, merino wool from New Zealand & Austrailia.
