✨ Meet Our New Instructor: Kerry! ✨

We’re so excited to welcome Kerry to the Philia Brant team! 🧵💛

Kerry began sewing over 7 years ago after being gifted her grandmother’s sewing machine, a moment that sparked a lasting passion for creating. A self-taught sewist, she built her skills through YouTube, blogs, and hands-on practice, growing into an adventurous intermediate maker who loves trying new techniques and projects.

Her sewing style is inspired by travel, comfort, and wearable fashion. She especially enjoys creating beautiful vacation pieces like flowy pants, skirts, and dresses, and loves working with stretch knits to make comfortable dresses and loungewear.

Originally from Brantford and now based in Paris, Kerry also works in talent management, where she helps others grow and thrive — making teaching a natural fit for her warm and encouraging personality.

📍 Kerry will be leading our Skirt Camp starting June 14th and is currently teaching a swimwear camp!
Perfect for anyone wanting to create their own beautiful handmade skirt while learning practical sewing skills in a supportive environment.
