I used yards of lace. Thank goodness I had a ruffler to gather it all. One row of lace was dyed with hot strong coffee.

Now that the cold weather is here how are your winter jacket zippers holding up? If your zipper is not closing and the zipper has no teeth missing then it is a slider issue. Quick fix, gently pinch each side of slider slightly closing gap on each side. Only tiny bit. Too hard and you break the slider. Zipper should close together now. If not then you can purchase sliders usually at Lens Mills or Fabricland. Take slider with you to compare. If you have missing teeth then you have to replace zipper.

The itinerary for the first class will be getting to know your machine. We will start with doing alterations on garments you already have. We will learn simple easy ways to repair or alter clothes. If anyone is interested in coming to the classes please let me know. Seating is limited. Starting date will be Tuesday September 18, 7 pm. Woodstock. Classes are free, donations will be accepted for the charity "Helping our Northern Neighbors".

I had forgotten about this project for a young gymnast. The harness attaches comfortably around body,. Sand bags are inserted in pockets front and back. The added weight while practicing routines makes you feel lighter when harness is removed. She did win the competition.
