I've been quiet here for a while, sorry! I wanted to share what's on my needles these days. My friend Shannon has a knitting podcast called Soxcetera and she recently started a KAL (knit-a-long) called the Blanket Blitz KAL. I was inspired by her awesome blanket that uses sock yarn leftovers so I joined the KAL and cast on my own. I even experimented with dyeing my own mini-skeins of yarn! Who knows, maybe a new venture for Sapphire Stitches?

Recently finished this adorable Gramps sweater for a special little guy who turned 1 last weekend. I love how the colours worked together and the dinosaur buttons are my favourite.

Oh my gosh, it's finished! My rainbow blanket took 2 years, 7 months and 3 days to finish. Doesn't it look lovely on my new couch?
