Join us in our journey to fulfill our business aspiration by supporting our fresh and inspiring line of custom wear. Revenue generated will help with next steps as we move towards a more inclusive future in our blue collar industries. Through the sale of BCB merchandise, we will be able to create a new wa

y for women to shop for their workwear. Our slogan, "Workin' Hard Never Looked So Good", comes from our desire to support women in their search for women's workwear, and allow the entire blue collar community to support this project.

National Day of Truth and Reconciliation 🧡

Today I will be taking time to recognize and reflect on the lasting impact of our country’s colonial history by learning and participating in National Truth and Reconciliation events.

Afternoon Panel Discussion

Time: 12 pm
Location: University of Calgary (Husky Oil Great Hal, inside the Rozsa Centre)

Description: Attend this panel discussion hosted by the University of Calgary’s Office of Indigenous Engagement in partnership with the Calgary Public Library. The panel includes Dr. Cora Voyageur, Lee Crowchild, and Kathleen Mahoney, who will all lead a discussion on the Final Report on Truth and Reconciliation in light of the unmarked graves of Indigenous children and the papal visit, and look to the path ahead. Evening Film Screening

Description: Watch a free evening film screening of “Night Raiders,” hosted by Calgary Public Library in partnership with the University of Calgary’s Office of Indigenous Engagement. The event includes special remarks from Sarah Meilleur, Calgary Public Library’s CEO and Dr. Michael Hart, University of Calgary’s Vice-Provost of Indigenous Engagement. Welcome ! 💙 🛠️

Zepps Gear was developed by Pete Zeppetella after he fell using his fall arrest harness and got choked my his jacket! 😵 His patented Velcro and snap back to the Zepps Gear jacket line ensures that in the instance you were to fall while wearing this jacket over your harness, it would deploy safely.

We have women's S and L and a men's M to share with you at the kickoff tomorrow if you're in Calgary! Stay tuned for more content on this and a few other new additions next week.

Happy Thursday! 💙 🛠️

Just a friendly reminder that Blue Collar Boutique's Kick-off Party and Networking event is THIS SATURDAY in Calgary, at Kingsland Community Hall from 1-4 pm. I'd love to see you there to share what I've been up to in building my business, and share some exciting things coming these next few weeks.

This Saturday, September 17th, from 1-4pm at Kingsland Community Hall in , AB is our Kick-Off Party and Networking Event!

Let's talk about the humble, grassroot beginning Blue Collar Boutique has had. I'm talking wedding crashing, BBQ hosting, sticker swapping grassroots, all starting with the Alberta Women in Trades private Facebook group. These amazing women came to meet me for a chance to share their story, meet like minded women, and give me insight into my business. I am so grateful for the amazing opportunities they have shared with me, helping me grow and building a network of strong women.

Last Tradie Lady Meetup of summer 2022! 💙🛠️

How strange that a meetup in Red Deer only had ONE Red Deer local 🤔 did not disappoint in hosting our little soiree, in both rain and shine! Thanks to all the gals that joined us, from as North as Edmonton and as south as Okotoks! Next event is our kickoff and networking event on September 17th in Calgary (and there may be some new developments in our lineup...)

Product photography... Again! 💙 🛠️

Thanks to my friend for helping out today. Between the two of us, we got half our custom branded line photographed, including our men's tee's and standard trucker hats! I'll be spending time tomorrow selecting which ones we'll be using for the website, and throwing a few teasers on social media...

This was my third attempt at product photography, and I am so glad we switched to our signature white brick background, every light the two of us owned, and Mike's superior camera equipment. We aren't even editing the photos because they are THAT GOOD! Stay tuned for more!

Birthday wood burn! 🔥💙🛠️

Not bad for my first burn and nice to do something not Blue Collar Boutique for the day.

I have had nothing but problems with product photography lately, and so yesterday I finally gave in and asked for help from a friend. Thank goodness cause just cause you CAN do it all, doesn't mean you SHOULD!

This weekend I'll be up in Edmonton for our second Blue Collar Boutique sponsored meetup and BBQ. Looking forward to reconnecting with and , and meeting some new tradie lady sisters!

Our first Blue Collar Boutique sponsored meetup was a huge success! What does success look like? How about my heart bursting with sisterly love for all these tradie ladies! 💙🛠️

Thank you so much everyone who was able to attend. It was wonderful getting to know some new friends, and reconnect with some old ones. There's a lot of heart in these amazing women (and support from men like Kevin) and I can see a bright future for women in trades, especially in Alberta.

Sticker mailers! 💙🛠️

was our 100th follower awhile back and has some. VERY wicked designs of her own, one even calling our that 5% of welders in the states are women! Excited for our sticker swap, and Sash has a few extras to enhance van life (only a little jealous of her freedom to roam!)
