Swanky Shanks - Cowboy Boot Purses and Western Wear Unique, one of a kind, purses made from recycled cowboy (girl) boots. And for the last 23 years, I am proud to call Calgary, ‘home’.

Having grown up in Northwestern Ontario (Thunder Bay, to be exact) and moved ‘out west’ 30 years ago, (yikes! … Is it really?) I instantly fell in love with anything western/country! (How does that happen?……Shania and I must have been bit by the same ‘country bug’!) As I have loved everything country, from the music to all apparel, with a western flair. So, although I didn’t grow up on a farm, or in the country, like most ‘authentic cowgirls’, I do however; profess to be a ‘fashion cowgirl’.
