This is Zsolt Hegedűs, Hungary’s possible future health secretary, celebrating the Tisza movements landslide election victory yesterday after 16 years of Viktor Orban’s authoritarian rule over the country.
The joy of humanity is in the celebrations, the grief, the messiness, the life, the complexity of what it means to be human and it’s through this lens that we can see the people within the position, the politician.
Something the world over would benefit from in the good times as well as the hard times.
