I moved to Victoria for its reputation as a vibrant hub of small businesses, creativity, and independent culture — a place where entrepreneurs could build something meaningful and be supported by the community around them.

Since becoming part of that landscape, I’ve also experienced a different reality: an increasingly challenging environment where the very people who shape the character of this city are finding it harder and harder to simply exsist.

What makes a tourist destination truly memorable isn’t just the scenery — it’s the small businesses, markets, makers, and local voices that bring it to life with their authenticity. And right now, those are exactly the things that need more care, visibility, and support if they’re going to continue to thrive.

As small business owners in the vintage & secondhand industry, we pour an incredible amount of time, care, labour, creativity, and personal investment into what we do.

Every rack is thoughtfully curated. Every piece is hand-selected. Every shop is built from years of experience, community building, and a genuine passion for sustainable fashion.

We completely understand wanting to shop consciously and within budget — especially in today’s economy — but we also hope to encourage a deeper understanding of the value behind curated secondhand spaces and the people working hard to keep them alive.

Choosing to shop local already makes a huge impact. Respecting the work behind these businesses makes an even bigger one 💛
