Almost 6 years ago my grandpa passed away 🕊️ At the time, I was in the beginning stages of learning to sew and I had asked my grandma to set aside some of his shirts for me. I had the hopes of one day being able to make something out of them. A week before my grandmas 80th birthday, and a few weeks after finishing my first quilt, I remembered the shirts. I had 10 days to make it before her party. I was able to accomplish it in 7! Yesterday I was able to gift it to her ❤️
