After a 7-week recovery, I'm thrilled to be back on my bike. Today's ride brought me immense joy and a feeling of being where I belong. Thanks to Soia and Zayden for their company on this slow and sweet ride. Until we meet again, my bike.

What do I do with all of our scrap fabric?
Well I make these beauties. 100% Merino Wool mittens, think, cozy great for a cold day. They are all one of kind, and each pair is inspired by my mood.
You can get a pair today at the Qualicum farmers market at 8.30am to 12pm. But if you can't make it, they will be hitting my website tomorrow.

This part of the world is truly breathtaking ❤️ Just back from an incredible 6-day hike on Nootka Island! This trail has been on my bucket list for 15 years, and I'm so glad I finally tackled it this summer.
The idea of " one day I'll " seems to take over many parts of our lives. That one day is now.
Making memories and sharing adventures with my two favorite travel kiddos.

After a super fun weekend with a dear friend in Tofino. It's now time to unpack, clean boards, suits and tents but I have to say its so worth it.

Very excited to be at the Tofino market this weekend coming. ( May Long Weekend).
The Weekend will be spent surfing with my kiddos, eating great food with a beautiful friend and most of all just being.
I do wish I could fit my bike in but it won't all fit in my little car :)

Oh hello Spring Break. Family, friends and just space

After finishing the sweaters this morning, I decided to do some homework for a course I'm taking.
I was looking to draw inspiration from my families past, and as I was flicking through a box of things my Nana gave me about my home country, I saw a binder called "Remembering the early days of my youth." By Dorothy Merle Fink
A collection of pictures, journal entries, and what things cost back in the 1930s.
Zayden was sitting with me when he stumbled on this poem my Nana wrote.
As I read it, tears flowed down my face on how true this is. Hearing it in her words and how perfound it is. We seem to get caught up in the "busy" and forget to stop and be present and take that jump.
Thank you Nana for the reminder 🩷.
