I was suppose to be at a market this weekend, but it git postponed….so I’ve got these few items up for grabs! After taking some time off this month, it would be spiff not to wait for consignment 💛

Skirts will fit med-xl and can be adjusted

I’ve got a green t-dress fits aprox med-xl also, I can add an elastic waistband too

Then I have a cute mommy and me set…but adjustable also ☺️

If I have a favourite type of skirt, these are it! I think of these ones as kokum/ceremony skirts. Simple, yet sturdy and classic 😍. Made these for a lovely human and I hope she loves wearing them just as much 🥰🥰🥰

Caring for Your Ribbon Skirt

Ribbon skirts are meant to be worn, lived in, and loved, but they also deserve proper care so they last for many years.

This guide was created to share simple, tried-and-true ways to care for your ribbon skirt at home without damaging the appliqué, ribbons, or fabric.

Why these steps matter:

• Cold water + vinegar helps set and preserve colour, especially with bold ribbons and detailed appliqué.
• Spot stain remover allows you to treat stains gently instead of over-washing the whole skirt.
• Tumble drying until slightly damp prevents stiffness and shrinking. You can also hang to dry if you prefer.
• Ironing with parchment paper is key. It creates a protective barrier so heat doesn’t scorch, melt, or flatten ribbons and appliqué details.

Parchment paper is affordable, easy to find, and a total game-changer when ironing detailed skirts. No direct heat on your hard work. I buy mine at Dollarama or a local Dollar store. You can also find it at your grocery store.

These are the same methods I use and recommend so your skirt stays vibrant, strong, and beautiful through many wears, dances, gatherings, and everyday moments.
