We’re excited to announce that Cradle&Carry will be joining The Mom Market at the Inn on Prince this Saturday, August 22nd! 🤍

Come by, say hi, and check out some of the premium baby gear we have available to rent! Whether you’re expecting, in the newborn stage, or already chasing around a busy little one, we’d love to chat about how renting baby gear can make life a little easier (and save you from buying expensive things your baby might only use for a short time 😅).

There will also be lots of other amazing local vendors to check out, so come make a day of it!

Wow... where do we even start?

When Evan and I launched Cradle&Carry, we honestly had no idea how much support we'd receive. We were hoping to help a few local families, and instead we've been absolutely blown away by the response.

First of all, thank you. ❤️ Every rental, every recommendation, every share, every kind message... it truly means the world to us.

One thing we've learned over the last year is that trying to coordinate every booking through email has become a full-time job in itself! 😂 We do our best to respond as quickly as we can, but between work, family, and running Cradle&Carry, it's getting harder and harder to keep up with all of the requests we receive each day.

So... we're excited to share that online reservations are coming!

✨ This Stage: Sitting Up & Seeing the World ✨

One day you prop them up with a pillow...

The next, they're sitting on their own, reaching for toys, laughing at everything, and taking in the world from a whole new perspective.

It feels like such a small milestone, but it's the beginning of so much.

Suddenly they're watching the dog walk by, reaching for your coffee mug, "helping" fold laundry, and smiling at everyone who walks into the room.

It's amazing how much their little personalities start to shine once they can sit up and really take everything in.

These are the days filled with curious eyes, contagious giggles, and wondering what they'll discover next.

There really is no such thing as a "bad" baby. ❤️

I still hear people say things like, "Oh, they're such a good baby," and honestly, I think we put way too much pressure on ourselves (and our babies!).

Some babies sleep through the night.

Some wake up every couple of hours.

Some are happy to nap in their bassinet.

Some would rather be glued to you 24/7.

Some love the car.

Some scream the second they're buckled in.

That doesn't make them "good" or "bad."

They're just babies.

They're learning everything for the very first time, and every single one of them is different.

If your baby only contact naps, wakes the second you sit down, and has declared war on their bassinet... you're not doing anything wrong. 😂

And if your baby sleeps well? That's okay too! It doesn't make you a better parent, and it doesn't mean you've "figured it out."

Every baby is different.

Every family is different.

And every stage passes so much faster than it feels like it will.

✨ This Stage: Learning to Roll ✨

One day you set them down on the play mat... and suddenly they're halfway across the room!

This stage is full of firsts. First rolls, first laughs, lots of tummy time, grabbing absolutely everything within reach, and those huge gummy smiles when they figure something new out.

It's also when babies start becoming curious about the world around them. Every day seems to bring a new little milestone.

As exciting as it is, it can also be a reminder of just how quickly they grow. It feels like yesterday you were bringing them home.

Whatever stage you're in right now, I hope you're taking lots of photos (and giving yourself plenty of grace too ❤️).
