9 weeks left until our little man makes his debut!
Asking prayer for:
- Labor to happen when William is home (William works over an hour away from where we live).
- Midwives will be well rested and available (Because of some past experiences, I believe my labor is going to go faster than expected).
- Everything goes smoothly and I DON'T have to be transported to Mount Sinai.

Finding the silver lining (sarcastically).
For the first time since moving into our apartment, the taps have stopped leaking. Mind you, it's the first time the water to the apartment has shut off. But taking the win right?😒🙄

Well I would say we're about 75% done!!!

This long weekend William moved around the bedroom, deep cleaned the bedroom and is now trying to figure out how to set up the crib.

We have been incredibly lucky as we've had someone give us their baby furniture. I do need to get a crib mattress and sheets though. Not entirely sure how to do that, but can figure that out.

Wow! Cannot believe how everything is coming together. Excited about getting the bedroom and crib finished!

Hi everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to explain why I’ve been so quiet on Facebook, except for the occasional pregnancy update. The truth is, William and I have been dealing with a lot behind the scenes, particularly financial struggles. I’ve hesitated to share because I didn’t want to face judgment from people who might not know all the details or really don't understand what's been going on.

I’ve always believed that if you work hard, are honest, and pray, things will eventually work out. William and I have been doing exactly that for over a year, but our problems have only grown, and they’ve become too big for us to handle alone.

For those who know me, you understand that I prefer to work hard for what I need. Even in the worst-case scenario, I would rather ask for a loan and pay it back. So, believe me when I say this is our final resort. The place we’re living in keeps raising the rent with no limits, and it’s pushing us into a very tough spot financially (not only that but there are issues that are making health issues worse). Today, I realized that we have to take our vehicle off the road because we can’t afford the insurance increases, maintenance, and gas to get to work. That was my last straw (we've spent a year trying to get housing transferred only to find out we would be moved to a 4 level apartment that has no elevator with the same lack of maintenance). I don’t know what else to do; I’ve tried everything I can think of. The only thing we haven’t done is give up hope and maybe I'm stupid for hanging onto the idea that things will get better.
