Hearty Hoods

Hearty Hoods 'Hearty Hoods' is a handmade clothing line based outside of Halifax, Nova Scotia. With the exception of a slight play on words, makes sense now right? Excellent!

Let’s start by giving a description of what led to the name selection:

4.hardy spirit or character; determination to survive; fortitude: thehardihood of early settlers. For those of you who know me, you know I love to sew! But what I love more is affordabl

e, unique and practical garments. So, I decided to start hand crafting my own special creations including, but not exclusive to, animal hoods and sweater gowns. With help from kind friends, their popularity has grown and has earned the deserving title, ‘Hearty Hoods’. With ideas up to my eye balls, don’t be surprised to see many new creations to come in the future!
