In the past, my posts to Instagram would automatically post to my page then I would go in to edit with prices and availability. I changed my Instagram account to non-business account because it limited my music choices. Now my posts don't go to FB.

Stone City Knits is not a business - it's an outlet for my hobby. Like a lot of makers, I just like to create - and can't stop 😉, but need to download what I make to get $ to help support the yarn industry 😂.

Please follow me on Instagram to see my posts until I get this figured out. If anyone knows a work around for this - please share. I'm not as tech savvy as I used to be.
If you're not familiar with Instagram - it's easy, you don't necessarily have to post anything yourself, but can follow anything you're interested in - favourite restaurants, plants, woodwork, etc. Plus there's a lot of incredible, local makers/artists/artisans on there to wow you with their creations.
Also, you can make your Instagram account private, so only those you choose can see your posts.

I took this picture on June 4, 2022, when after over 2 years of the pandemic and having every possible vaccination, we finally felt safe enough to go out and get back into normalcy.  Other than Barry's sore shoulder, things were going fine.  Then the diagnosis came in early July 2022 - cancer that had grown into the rib bones and was inoperable.
44 years, 2 months and 12 days we had together.  My best friend, husband, rock, believer, comforter, has been gone for ten days and I am left feeling like half of me is gone.  This picture was like an omen that he would be leaving us 😪.
He was a jack of all trades and a master of most.  In his younger days he was also a talented musician and entertainer who could make an audience sing, dance, laugh, cry, or just go silent so as not to miss a note or word.
We will celebrate his life, on Monday, where this picture was taken.  He loved to go to the right for a drink, then to the left for a bite to eat.  We will toast him at The Toucan then across to Chez Piggy for snacks and chats.
To every thing there is a season.

* SOLD * Kale - I can't seem to cook it so that it is palatable, but I do like it as a yarn colour 😅. Super bulky, wool blend yarn. Soft and warm headbands/earwarmers.

*SOLD * I've never used this colour before. It's called 'Raisin' and is a super bulky, wool/acrylic blend. The double ribbing and fold up brim add even more to its thickness and it is topped with a large 'wolf' pompom to pick up on the flecks throughout the yarn.
$35 ($30 without pompom)
