HANK & RUBY — SALTY DOGS OF CAPE BRETON! 🐾

Meet Hank and Ruby, two of the biggest Salty DNA supporters you’ll find anywhere on the coast!

🐾 Ruby — Bullmastiff, 135 lbs, 5 years old
🐾 Hank — Bullmastiff , 110 lbs and only 9 months old!

These two beauties belong to Nolan MacKinnon, Captain of the FV Pier Pressure I, fishing out of beautiful Margaree Harbour.

Believe it or not, it took the crew about an hour to get these photos just right—but we’d say it was worth every minute! 😄

A huge thank you to Brandon Hunt and crew for taking the time to capture and share these amazing shots with us.

We absolutely love receiving your photos! Whether you’re on the water, on the wharf, at the campground, or out on the road, send them our way. The more creative, the better!

☀️ It’s shaping up to be a Salty Summer, and we can’t wait to meet old friends and make new ones as we travel across the Maritimes.

Al & Lou are all tucked in after Day 1 of their Cape Breton Lobster Season Tour! ☀️🦞

Finding a scenic and tranquil place to settle in for the night is always part of the adventure—and part of the challenge too! 😊

I’m glad they’re getting to enjoy this first taste of summer heat. It brings back memories of some of the incredible adventures Bobby and I shared during last year’s two-month Nova Scotia tour.

One thing that hasn’t changed is the warm welcome and genuine hospitality from people of all ages and backgrounds. East Coasters truly are something special.

We’re sharing a few photos captured throughout another wonderful day on the road. Thanks to everyone who stopped by, said hello, and helped make Day 1 such a great success!
