THE BIG LAND!! ❤️

Back in June, we rushed through beautiful Labrador to catch our June 30th ferry. Now we’re rushing through once again to finish this incredible journey and get back home after 70 days in the road!

But most importantly…

WE SAID WE’D BE BACK — AND HERE WE ARE! ❤️

There’s a spirit throughout Newfoundland and Labrador of accepting one another and embracing neighbouring communities, regardless of which side of a border, strait or stretch of coastline they call home.

As a visitor, you can feel that incredibly warm welcome everywhere you go—from Newfoundland, across Labrador and along Quebec’s Lower North Shore through Blanc-Sablon and its neighbouring communities. Different cultures, languages and traditions may shape each community in its own way, but that same welcoming spirit seems to connect them all.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and I think these pictures tell the story better than I ever could. Once again, you welcomed us, supported us and made us feel like part of the family.

We’re en route and hoping to roll into Port Hope Simpson around 6 PM!

It’s already been one LONG day for the boys. They hit the road from St. Anthony at 4 AM this morning, and after we close up tonight, they still have to keep rolling toward Happy Valley–Goose Bay! 😅

So do us a favour and COME EARLY and get your shopping done! 😂 We love yas, but the boys have a whole lot of Labrador Highway left to cover tonight!

The boys were on the go early again—as always—leaving St. Anthony at 4 AM to catch this morning’s crossing of the Strait of Belle Isle!

They’re on a very tight schedule this time around, with Cory trying to make his way back home ASAP to get back into the boat-building grind. But there was no way we were heading home without making one last run through Labrador! 💪

🏴‍☠️ MISSION NEWFOUNDLAND: ACCOMPLISHED! ❤️

Tonight, we finished our final Salty DNA pop-up shop in Newfoundland right where this incredible journey began on Canada Day — St. Anthony!

And what a way to finish it.

You gave us one hell of a welcome when we arrived, and tonight you gave us the most wonderful send-off we could have asked for. ❤️

Thank you, St. Anthony.

And thank you to every single person across Newfoundland who came out to see us, shopped with us, followed our journey, shared our posts, honked when you passed the trailer, offered us a helping hand, told us your stories and made us feel at home everywhere we went.

We came here to spread Salty DNA across Newfoundland.

Instead, Newfoundland left a little of its DNA in us.

From one end of this beautiful province to the other, the support has been absolutely incredible. There are memories, friendships and stories from this journey that we’ll carry with us for the rest of our lives.

But the show ain’t over yet!

Tomorrow we cross into Labrador to complete the return leg of this voyage and continue pointing the truck toward home.

So keep following along… there are still plenty more miles, laughs, pictures and Salty stops ahead!

🚨 LAST STOP — ST. ANTHONY! 🚨

Soon we’ll be right back where this crazy Newfoundland adventure started on Canada Day… if we don’t run out of fuel first! 😂⛽

The boys have been flat out all day and apparently were a little too busy to pay attention to that tiny little fuel gauge. 🤦‍♂️

If we don’t make it, I’m sure somebody will come to the rescue! Keep an eye on the page for an update—we may be looking for a fuel jug delivered alongside the highway! 😂

But one way or another, SALTY DNA IS COMING TO ST. ANTHONY!

One of my trailers has been through Main Brook before, but I haven’t—and there was no way I was leaving this island without making a stop here myself!

The boys arrived early this morning and are already digging through the bins, pulling out the last of the hot stock and getting it up for you!

⏰ We MUST leave at 10 AM, so if you’re anywhere around Plum Point, get down here NOW! We’re on a tight schedule as we make our final run up the Northern Peninsula.

Tomorrow marks our 65th consecutive day of spreading Salty DNA across this incredible island they call Newfoundland—and we ain’t easing off the pedal until the job is done!
