Red is often associated with love but did you know that the color red also represents strength, power, confidence and success?

This is why I selected the red suit as the outfit for my client's show last week which was about finding love during the pandemic.

How a jacket should fit

People often ask me about how a jacket should fit.

The jacket is an important and focal part of a suit. As such, it is important that it properly fits.

There are a number of ways to determine whether a jacket properly fits or not. A good indication is how the front of the the jacket closes.

If there is too much pulling at the top button or you see an X then this means that the jacket is too tight. Remember the jacket should be snug but not too tight.

Our Story

Patrice Milord was born in Montreal but grew up in Ottawa. He is the child of Haitian parents who immigrated to Canada in the early 70’s. He is the youngest of 3 siblings.

Patrice was inspired to launch his men accessories company given his passion for fashion. As he was having a hard time finding fashion forward clothing in Ottawa he decided to bring that look to the nation’s capital. In addition to providing accessories for men, his company provides fashion consulting services as well as personal shopping.

Patrice likes to dress up and carefully plans his outfits with the help of his own personal fashion police also known as his oldest daughter.

In addition to being passionate about fashion he is a fan of professional basketball. Patrice is a public servant, real estate investor and full-time father of 3 amazing girls.
