This is the Grottes d'Andranoboka (or Andranoboka caves) are the collective name of all the caves of the area, Anjohibe (Big Cave) is the name of the southeastern cave system. It is the original name of the biggest and most easy-to-find cave entrance. This system has 13 entrances and is more than 5 km long with many roomy passages.

The other cave system, two kilometers apart is called Anjohikely (Small Cave). It is also possible to visit this cave, which is said to be better preserved, because of less visitors.

An underground river in the lower parts of the cave system is home to cave-loving animals, like eels and turtles.

Litchi or lychee, good source of several vitamins, minerals, and healthy antioxidants. Lychees are popular in Southeast Asia and China but less common in other countries.

They have a sweet and flowery flavor and are a good source of vitamin C and several beneficial antioxidants. This makes them an excellent addition to a healthy diet.

When you travel along the coast of Madagascar, don’t forget to try some 😉

When did you taste the sweetest litchi?
