Imagine your 8-year-old self waking up every day to discover a new corner of a gigantic museum — five pavilions, four floors, and too many elevators!

Sometimes you take the magical stairs backwards; other times, you walk on your tiptoes. And imagine getting lost with 19 others like you!.

The whole museum is yours.

By the time your morning visit is over, you’re surrounded by a chaotic crowd of visitors. but your friends are easy to find — we are all wearing blue!

A few meters away we get together in the studios and create the most wonderful projects, experimenting with all kinds of materials and mediums.

I never stopped playing house. Today it's just real scale. Since I'm teeny weeny Ive always loved to changed things in the playhouse then my room and now our home. This weekend the whole house was my playground- boy did I love it!
I brought out the 20th c. Qajar mirrors. They are so frail, but hope is on their way and will soon be part of us.

and that shoe by artist Pamela D Steward is one of my favorite pieces. I visited her home once, what an artist!
She sits among other great artists in these compositions.

This is the piece that introduced me to the world of design.

No two are ever the same!
At first glance, you might think it’s simply a conceptual object, but this chest of drawers is entirely functional. It also plays with memory. Wouldn’t you remember what you kept in the blue drawer?

Designer Tejo Remy created an entire series by collecting discarded drawers and giving them a new life. Each chest becomes a one-of-a-kind composition with its own personality.

Droog Design—droog meaning “dry” in Dutch took the idea of stripping design down to its essentials: using ordinary materials and straightforward thinking to make things work. There’s something human about paying attention to how objects already exist in the world around us.

When it appeared in the early 1990s, this piece turned heads! and helped shape generations of designers exploring reuse and repurposing.

for me, it’s about more than giving discarded objects a second life. It’s about creating a unique relationship between the user and the object. It’s playful. It asks us to engage, to remember, and actually to be really present and appreciative of the things that surround us.

A vintage biker jacket with slouchy shoulders and years of wear. Except it isn’t leather at all. I move closer to the label: stoneware. Clay. Suddenly, the piece becomes a magic trick—a hyper real piece. The show Is It Cake? comes to mind. Thank you Marilyn. I really love this piece.
