La Tresse Braided wool scarves and accessories. Foulards et accessoires en laine tressés. La Tresse, quite simply means "the braid" in French. Stay tuned!

With no real passion for knitting, but with a love for the cozy feeling of wool, I feel that the braiding process lends itself well to my products. I originally got the idea of a braided scarf while on a shopping excursion with a friend. I saw the most beautiful and luxurious braided wool shawl, and since it cost a small fortune, i immediately decided to make one for myself. After receiving many c

ompliments on my shawl, I realized that this aesthetic could translate well into something with more widespread appeal; a scarf. I am solely involved from the conception, creation to completion of the La Tresse designs. I will continue updating my page as more designs come to mind.
