Happy New Year from God Luck!
Letter on our prayers
Brothers and sisters,
I pray you all have a blessed New Year’s Eve. A brother and I were just speaking about prayers, and I was enlightened to tell him how much weight and power the prayers of the true, faithfully submitted have.
I believe that in a world full of distraction, dilution of Spirit and evil, that genuine prayers are far and few in between. Most people pray when things go bad, and try to use Christ as a genie in a bottle or a wishing well. I wonder how many prayers were sent by true men and women of God, with obedience and faith, in 2025. Probably not as many as there should have been.
Our prayers carry weight because we don’t turn from Him when things go bad. When people fall ill, when people betray us, when our projects don’t go a certain way, we understand that God’s plan is bigger and greater than we can possibly imagine. We remain faithful. We remain patient, prayerful and seek to deepen our relationship with Him. This is why He listens and answers us.
I encourage you all to strive to have prayers that carry weight in 2026. Prayers that God will undoubtedly answer if you send them with pure intent and a clean soul. Fight sin, ward off the enemy’s attacks, love each other and remain in a state of grace. He will reward you and give you strength and assistance through the Holy Spirit.
God bless you all, and happy new year.
Your brother in Christ,
-MSP
