👜Good morning bag lovers! 👜

Well my weekend included making these Retro-Style Sling Bags with Nova Scotia Tartan. I love the contrast of the blues in the tartan and the bright blue background, what do you think?

These bags are proving to be really popular and selling quickly.

This bag is timeless, practical and stylish. It’s a version of popular unisex designs currently all the rage in designer stores.

So what can I tell you about this bag?

It’s a great bag for day trips, shopping, travelling or anytime when you’d like to be hands free and secure.

It measures approximately
14” tall X 7” wide X 3” deep.
The strap includes comfort padding and is fully adjustable; it can extend to approximately 46”
Call out to you taller ladies. 😉

The strap is attached at the back either on the left or the right, perfect for left or right handers alike!

I’ve included a D ring on the strap which is perfect for hanging your bag when not in use.

Wow they’re loads of storage possibilities.
There are 3 on the exterior;
One large easily accessible slip pocket with a snap closure, perfect for your phone, and lower down on the front another zipper pocket. On the back there’s a concealed zipper pocket that is easily accessible while wearing the bag and is perfect for securing your valuables.
The generously sized interior offers loads of room to carry all your stuff plus there’s an interior slip pocket to keep things organized in there!

I construct these bags using professional bag making techniques throughout. All internal seams are bound which gives added structure and strength resulting in a beautiful high quality product.

Materials:
Exterior 100% cotton canvas and interior is 100% cotton as well.
All hardware and supplies are sourced from Canadian suppliers. 🇨🇦

My long weekend included making these Retro-Style Sling Bags.
I’ve made them for my son and my husband and they both love them. This is the first time I’ve made them for women.

This bag is timeless, practical and stylish. It’s a version of popular unisex designs currently all the rage in designer stores.

Well I’ve completed 6 Portuguese cork wallets, 2 of which have already sold!

Item description:

These are mid-size slim wallets to fit your cash notes, coins and cards. They include a large secure zip pocket on the top with a generous inside compartment for notes and 2 credit card slots. The front zip pocket is perfect for coins.

Overall measurements are approximately
7 1/2” wide by 4 1/2” tall by 1/2” deep.

The exteriors are made from high quality Portuguese cork and the interior are 100% cotton.

All materials are sourced from Canadian suppliers🇨🇦

Well, I had a busy morning with a blood test, errands and then meeting up with a lovely customer who bought the black mini traveler sling pouch I completed yesterday.

I’m just getting to my sewing room.

I absolutely love Portuguese cork and I’ve been adding a bit of it here and there to my fabric stash for awhile now….so why not make some wallets.

I cut 6 wallets out and I finished the purple accented one a few days ago.
Now I’m working on one with dragonfly’s…stay tuned for the results😉
