Looking for something fun to do this weekend? check out the Strange and Astounding Show located at the Woodview Community Centre on Cadillac Ave in Oshawa. Saturday from 10-5 and Sunday from 10-4 The perfect place to shop for the horror fan or geek on your Christmas list.

Each year, the Strange and Astounding show asks the community to give in the form of non-perishable food items, baby diapers, formula and new un-wrapped gifts for boys and/or girls in support of Oshawa-based Simcoe Hall Settlement House.

What a fun night! Peter Turns Pirate was great. Squid Lid was so amazing. The Cloven Path Ministry people were a big hit. Jason and Melissa from Haunt Ventures killed it. The volunteers were perfect! Although a little light on attendance, the event was a real success and something truly unique for Oshawa. See you next year.

Late night last night, but the haunt looks really good. Our scare team is back at it this morning, setting up the rest of the Atria and Diezel Room. DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS EVENT. It's going to be a good one.

Our scare team is heading down to the Diezel room now to begin the load-in and build of the upstairs haunt experience. We'll post some pictures when we're done (but not too many... we want it to be a terrifying surprise!).
