"A family member took me around to all the thrift and consignment shops while I was there visiting a couple of weeks ago and the Boutique on 151 Morrison Ave was a standout. The saleslady, Moya, could not have been more welcoming and sweet, and the store is a consignment shopper's dream. . .absolutely charming and brimming with hundreds of beautiful pieces. . .anything and everything you can imagine including a vintage Chanel scarf!!! The scarf was tempting but being somewhat more practical, I settled on a pair of as-new suede and insanely comfortable Sorel clogs which I walked away with for just $38!! But the real treasure was chatting with Moya and connecting over our shared Irish heritage. In an age where retail has become so impersonal and transactional, and service almost non-existent, interactions like these are priceless. I will definitely plan to visit the K & K Boutique again next time I'm in Parksville!"
