Well, pals… some of you may have heard by now, but here’s the official announcement: The Pickle Palace at 496 Main St W in Port Colborne is dead. We have poured ourselves fully into this location for the last three years only to have it taken away. Through no fault of our own, our lease has not been renewed for the 2026 season and beyond.

Small business ownership is an uphill battle on the best of days and we really cannot overstate our gratitude for every single one of you who has stood on that hill with us. Hell, some of you have even pulled us up kicking and screaming when we felt like we just couldn’t climb anymore.

As of today, we don’t know what the future of The Pickle looks like. We are looking at other locations, running numbers, and trying to make it all make sense. We can tell you that we have put this business ahead of our friends, our families, and ourselves for three years. It’s time for us to change gears and start taking care of those things first. It is highly unlikely that we will be opening for services for the 2026 season, but who’s to say what could happen beyond that…

All that said, we will still be doing services for the month of February, so get your s**t in ASAP and be ready to ride when the weather gets nice! To make the closure easier on us, we are selling off basically everything in the store at cost as well, so check out the website or even better, come in and score some deals!
