Growing up in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Aidan Anderson was an ordinary youngster who was passionate about sports and spending time in nature. His life shifted during his first year of high school when he started to have episodes of anxiety. Eventually, he realized he was being overwhelmed by depression and anxiety which had gone untreated during most of his high school days. Recognizing he was
not the only one on the planet facing their own thoughts daily, Anderson chose to make a difference in the lives of those suffering from a mental illness. Thus, he initiated the IN2R Brand to bring recognition to mental health, built upon his eagerness to take part in outdoor activities, including snowboarding and BMXing. I Need To Ride (IN2R) is about calming the mind and cherishing life, such as going for a drive, snowboarding, or anything that gives one an authentic sense of freedom. Life will always present hardships, but one should remember they are not alone. IN2R is not only about the logo imprinted on its products, but also the narrative being conveyed through the clothing and apparels, with a share of profits being contributed to support mental health programs.
