Several more Felted Wool Messenger Bags ready for Bazaart!
Saturday June 20th from 10 am to 5 pm. MacKenzie Art Gallery You will find me in a new spot this year, booth 37 near the MacKenzie Art Gallery main entrance.
Behind the scenes I have been busy felting vintage wool skirts and these are some of the results. Felting creates a dense, sturdy fabric that stands up to daily wear and tear. Made from repurposed wool clothing, these bags are gorgeous. Features include a magnetic closure, adjustable strap, one outside pocket, and two inside pockets.
Care Instructions: Hand wash cold and air dry.

Coming to Bazaart this Saturday!
Hot Pads are made from upcycled wool clothing with cotton fabric appliqué. Hot Pads have a layer of heat resistant batting and a layer of cotton batting and are backed with fabric from repurposed wool coats.

Wool is fire resistant and self-extinguishing, so if accidentally caught on fire, the fire is likely to go out on its own. Unlike man-made materials, wool will not melt if caught on fire.
