Our 2nd annual Save the Classroom Crayons Campaign is ON! As you clean out your classrooms & backpacks this June, instead of throwing out your crayons, please donate them to Lyla’s Crayon Factory where they will be reused, upcycled & new crayons will be donated back to the community!

Last year we collected 30lbs of crayons from Rockwood schools and with individual donations that number raised to 53lbs. How many lbs of classroom crayons can we divert from the landfill this year?!

☀️ ☀️ Last week we had the best time visiting The Children’s Foundation of Guelph Wellington . We brought along 152 packs of crayons for their Backpack and Summer Camp programs (almost 15 lbs & over 1200 crayons!!!!). Megan gave us a tour of the office & told us about all the amazing programs the Foundation runs for kids in Guelph-Wellington! Lyla also met her new best friend, golden retriever Sadie, who was the best hostess! ☀️ ☀️

PS. All of these crayons we donated were new or nearly new crayons that we received in our crayon donations from all of our donation sources! Since they still have lots of life left to live, we package these up and donate them back to the community, thereby reducing the amount of crayons in the landfill AND reducing costs for important community programs and services!
