This was a commissioned piece from a big fan of my work, this particular one was one of the last pieces he asked for his son Dylan, shortly after he was taken by a work related accident, passing way to young!

He left a big gap in the youth hockey association in the Ottawa area.

Well just found this packed away, when monitor screen were big bulky and more of a room heater lol. This was a sample i did in the mid 1990's.. it gave the company a bit of extra bucks from the hardcore gamers and comic book crew who loved it! Today is its last dayin the shop.. now it goes to the recycling world!

Air brushing is an art that takes work and can be ruinned in the finishing steps at times even to the best airbrush artist. Not only are there many steps to the process of painting as well as doing the steps in a different way than a normal painting done with brushes. But there is a wide range of surfaces an airbrush artist has to deal with that he might not enjoy or like.

Take this textile (t-shirt) for example. This was a piece I did for my wife's best friends husband on a shirt. This is dated back to 1991 when it was very hard for a NFL fans to get his favorite team on a shirt of jersey. So his wife commissioned me to do the piece as a Christmas gift!

So versatility is key as an artist who does commission work that might not be there tastes.
