Call for Artists: Back Door Art Gallery – Spring 2026

Studio Q, the Mann Art Gallery, and the Prince Albert Downtown BID are teaming up to bring more public art to the heart of downtown Prince Albert!

We’re transforming the back doors of 10 downtown businesses into a unique outdoor gallery—featuring artwork by local artists like you.

Who can apply?
Artists of all skill levels and backgrounds working in any visual medium. We especially encourage submissions from newcomers, 2SLGBTQIA+, youth, and Indigenous artists. Collaborations welcome!

What’s included?
• 10 artworks selected
• $600 honorarium per artist
• Professional photography + large-scale installation on downtown doors

Where?
Downtown Prince Albert (River St. E to 10th St. E)

📅 Deadline to apply: April 16, 2026
📣 Artists notified: April 30, 2026
🎉 Unveiling: June 20, 2026 (Downtown Street Fair)

This project celebrates local creativity, increases access to art, and brings new life to overlooked urban spaces.
