Some seasons are for blooming, and some are for rediscovering your roots.
The bloom.
When we walk away or change the things in our lives that dim our light, and we choose instead the things that make us shine.
From the inside out.
And we remember that’s where we bloom, and where we help others to bloom too, for when they lose their light we can lend them some of our own.
You know what else is beautiful about the blooming? That just as the flowers, we all bloom at different times, in different seasons, at our own pace and often like the wildflowers we bloom where we are least expected to, or where we least expect ourselves to. Like the things that challenge us or we felt were barriers instead were forcing us to reflect, rediscover, and redirecting us in our path of growth. Forcing us to re-root and ground ourselves again. In order to bloom one must get uncomfortable and grow.
How beautiful it is to think that in our tough seasons, when we are most uncomfortable, or feel like we are rediscovering ourselves, that tending to those feelings and redirections, leads to further growth.
Whether you’re in a season of re-rooting, grounding yourself in your journey, learning and unlearning what you need to, watering the garden or are in the process of blooming again, remember you are enough. As you are. Where you are. Always.
Keep going, you got this.
