Provenance - my great aunt's masking-tape note on base that reads:
Haiti, purchased in March 1976 while on Caribbean cruise 🙂

Cardinal Tuck Ashtray/Trinket Dish made in 1956 by W.Goebel in West Germany.
Sold
This prized collectible is in very good used condition.
The red Cardinal Tuck are more rare and valuable than brown Friar Tuck.
Year stamped on bottom along with ZF43/II and maker's mark.
Some crackling of the glaze on bottom but no cracks.

Small chip inside front left side - not really noticeable (see last photo).
Approx. 4" x 4" x 1.25" high (dish) / 3.5" to top of Tuck.
