Just come be the doggo I need!!

Happy doggo appreciation day… to those I’ve met, fostered, loved, cuddled, wrestled, admired.

I don’t think it’s actually doggo appreciation day…
But for all my dogs out there. Love ya. You make the world a better place. Ultimately…. That’s our goal .inc so…. We try and follow your example.

Protect what you love. Cherish what you have. Eat what is given. Make the most of every day. See the joy in everything, and best in everyone.

Y’all pooches had it figured out long ago… and I (Michael) am your biggest fan. I think I got that dog in me. Ruff ruff 💛🐶🌊🌲

If you gotta doggo out there today… give em a hug from me please. They deserve the world,

What about you…?? Are you a dog or a cat person?? 👀

Addressing the confusion. Hope this clears things up. 🙏🏼🌊💛

Just in case you were wondering… HERE is what’s still in store at Island Life:

You can take solace from the sun, and rest easy knowing that every hat is locally embroidered in Vancouver, B.C. AND a portion of all proceeds from every purchase go to support wild-life conservation in the Pacific Northwest.

There are still a few other hats, socks, toques and crewnecks available in limited sizes… but these small batch items won’t be available forever… but they do have a lifetime guarantee.

Are you visiting any gulf islands in 2026!?!

Let us know and maybe we can provide some travel tips!

We’ve got love for all the islands of the Pacific Northwest, and we’re here to help in any way we can.

Island Life Roots Grow Deep…

We don’t just visit the islands. We know them. We celebrate them. We keep going back. 🌊🌲

Standing inside the epic sandstone formations on Galiano.

Rope swing days at Sandcut Beach.

Whale watching and kayak camping off Malcolm Island.

The waterfall at Mystic Beach.

Beach baseball in Tofino on McKenzie Beach.

Walking down Big Trib on Hornby toward the sea.

These places shape us. Slow us down. Remind us why we choose island life in the first place.

Follow along for island guides, wild adventures, and locally embroidered small batch apparel… and be part of a growing community of Pacific Northwest island lovers with .inc

What’s your favourite island in the Pacific Northwest?

02/03/2026

If today feels heavy, let the waves hold it for a minute

Slow down. Breathe deep. Better days (and better weather) are on the way.

Every .inc piece supports conservation along the coast we love.

YOU can help save Canada Post! Here’s how: Realistically if everyone started sending 100 letters a day that might do it… but who has the time for that.

OR… you could order a cute local item from .inc and do your part to support our national mail service.

We will ship your parcel in a cute little box using recyclable or biodegradable shipping material, and it should arrive at some point in 2026. 😉

Also we are committed to improving the community we live in by hosting beach cleanups, and donating to charities like …. But we can only donate proceeds from sales if you make purchases.

We also volunteer a lot… well I mean we don’t make enough money to get paid so… that still counts right?

I dare to you to have a look and see what’s in store. A nice waterproof hat or toque might really come in handy this season.

As always, thank you all for the love and support. See you at beach, on the waters, or on your next island getaway!!

Cheers,

Michael

🎣 Right now, our coast is on the hook and what we do next will decide the future for wild salmon, eelgrass meadows, and the marine life that calls BC home.

That’s why $5 from every Island Life hat or crewneck goes to SeaChange Marine Conservation Society, who are restoring vulnerable ecosystems along our shoreline.

So far, they’ve planted 4,706 m² of eelgrass - underwater meadows that act as salmon nurseries, shelter for young crabs, and feeding grounds for countless marine species.

Here’s how is reeling in real change:

1️⃣ Education – getting kids, volunteers, and communities hands-on with marine science and stewardship.

2️⃣ Conservation – mapping, monitoring, and protecting eelgrass habitats in the Salish Sea.

3️⃣ Restoration – transplanting eelgrass and removing debris to rebuild thriving coastal ecosystems.

When you wear our Forest Green Crewneck, you’re not just staying cozy. You’re helping restore habitat, protect salmon, and support real conservation here in BC.

Wear it with purpose. Adventure with intention.
