Perseverance doesn’t always look heroic; most days it looks slow, steady, and a bit ordinary, like a turtle drawn in plain black ink choosing to move forward while the world rushes itself hoarse. This illustration is trying to hold onto that same idea—keep going even when progress feels small, uncertain, or quietly ridiculous. The bamboo-through-stone metaphor reminds me of Grand Master Park Jung Tae, who taught that real strength can be gentle and stubborn at once, standing firm, ten toes down, and continuing to the next breath instead of the next applause.
