It was 5 years ago another Jane “Nightbirde” took to the stage fighting cancer and delivered this song …

I had yet to fight my own cancer but had been through a father passing away and infertility. She made me realize that during the in between of moments that change are life it’s Okay to feel lost… it’s human, it’s real and we need to accept it.

I listened to her a lot during my cancer battle … and just yesterday I put this song on again. Not knowing today was the 5 years mark that she graced us with this message.

I share it now because we all have the moments that change time from before to after. Some of those moments are much more traumatic than for others; but nobody gets through life without them.

We all get lost, and it’s ok.
