Today I had an opportunity to share the Tipi Teachings alongside Talking Rocks Tour during the Cultural Tour provided at the International Indigenous Tourism Conference 2026

I spoke about my mom proudly and felt her right next to me today ❤️ I'm so proud of her legacy and all that she has provided for my boys and I - I beamed with pride as I shared what cultural reclamation and revitalization looks like in this family; especially when it comes to my children. My boys, they're a strong reminder of her positive choices and commitment to a lifestyle that represents good health and prosperity 🙏 never forget your Teachers and my 1st one was my mom ❤️ today was dedicated to her ❤️

Join Sisters Dialogue for a delicious and enlightening event celebrating Indigenous cuisine and culture! Facilitated by the talented and hosted at the Queen Alexandra Community League, this gathering explores how food serves as a powerful tool for cultural preservation, resistance, and community building.

This event is open to EVERYONE - families, youth, and community members of all backgrounds are welcome! Childminding provided.

NOTE: This is not a hands-on cooking class. Rather, it's a cultural experience focused on sharing stories, witnessing traditional food preparation, and learning about the significance of each dish from Indigenous knowledge holders.
