This simple medieval gown is loose fitting and comfortable. It can be worn alone or with a surcote, belt or apron over it. It is made of 100 % wool in dark green, lined with coral cotton. It has no closures and goes on easily over the head. I don’t know the exact size so will provide the measurements. (I believe this might be a size 18-20.)

Back : 19” (from sleeve to sleeve)
Upper sleeve: 16”
Bust: 48”
Length of dress: 60”
Length of sleeves: 28”

Both the sleeves and dress will be hemmed to whatever length is required upon purchase. $75.00

I am in love with history and sewing historical garments brings history to life for me! I have been sewing most of my life though only started sewing historical costumes about a year ago. I recently retired from my long time administrative job and now have time to devote to my passion. As you can see from my photos, I have sewn three historical dresses and have now started sewing medieval hoods. I reuse materials purchased from thrift stores in the form of curtains, duvets or bedspreads but will certainly use new materials if you prefer. My hoods are made from new fleece fabric and I am asking $30 for them. I would be thrilled to create an original historically inspired costume for you! I have reasonable rates.
