This was a great collab with the amazingly talented Sarah Jay Arts !

It was 2020. Everyone was dying their hair weird colors because...why not... nobody would see you anyways and if they did, you would be wearing a mask and they wouldn't recognize you. Such a time of disconnection

I teamed up with paper airplane to help bridge the disconnect a tad. People would order a colorful scrunchy from paper airplane along with a card designed by me, where we would write a handwritten message and send to someone they were missing.

Paper airplane (leslie) lives in my neighborhood so I would ride my rusty old dirtbike to her house and leave cards on her doorstep. A no contact delivery. What a weird time haha but I'm thankful as this also helped me feel connected to our community.

Through the pressures of the present and uncertainties of the future ✨️ I hope we continue to look for ways to connect with each other. Even if it's with pink hair on a rusty old dirtbike.
