I understand that sharing this update may not be easy, but I appreciate your support throughout this journey. While things are taking longer than expected with the building, it’s not the end of the world! I’ll need some additional time to insulate the space, run power, and gather essential items such as shelves, clothing racks, coat hangers, shoe stands, totes, and—most importantly—clothes.
With that in mind, I’ll be pushing back the opening date to make sure everything is done properly. I didn’t anticipate all these extra tasks, and while I don’t consider myself the smartest person, I’m determined to get it all together. I promise to keep you all updated on the progress of the building, including when it’s delivered, finished, and powered up.
I also want to express my gratitude for the support from this wonderful community. Whether you sold me items, donated supplies, or offered encouraging words, your help has been invaluable. As a reminder, I’ll follow through on my promise to donate 10% of sales from the first three days to local charities: the warming center, Matthew 25, and Nine Lives Cat Rescue.
Thank you all for your kindness and support during this exciting (but challenging) journey!
I just wanted to clarify that I’ve invested in an AI app to help me convey my messages more clearly, as I’m trying my best to communicate effectively. Unfortunately, some people didn’t understand what I was saying and made some rude remarks that were unnecessary. While my feelings were a bit hurt at first, I’ve moved on from it!
I’m excited to have the AI in place to help avoid any misunderstandings in the future. Thank you for your understanding and support as I work through this journey. I appreciate the kindness and encouragement from all of you!
