SummerSkin Artisanal summer fashions designed and sewn by the sunny seamstress: Chelsea Maier Beach Culture, Bright Life. There is a story woven in their threads.

Summer skin is for the beach comber, the festival lounger, the spirit-filled souls, and the wanderlusters. These wax and batik printed fabrics are from the Dodoma region of Tanzania, on the East Coast of Africa. Hand picked and traded for from local street-side shops. Inspired by their bright colours and intricate patterns, we wanted to bring a life to these textiles- put them back in the sun!
