January, the month of changes — rain mixed with cold, ice and storms, and then the sun again. ❄️🌧️🌬️☀️

So happy that my first botanical coaster with woodruff is flying to the UK to its new home 🇬🇧✨ In the meantime, I’m creating new coasters and dreaming of warmer days, sunshine, and spring flowers. 🌸🌿

Day 11 of

Meet Japanese Cherry — the fleeting poet of spring, arriving in a soft exhale of petals, reminding us that beauty is most powerful when it doesn’t try to last 🌸✨

Japanese Cherry blooms at the very edge of seasons, when winter has finally loosened its hold but spring is still tender and new. Clouds of pale pink and ivory flowers gather on bare branches, transforming the landscape almost overnight — a quiet miracle that feels both celebratory and contemplative.

Long associated with impermanence, renewal, and mindful presence, cherry blossoms teach us to cherish what is here now. Their bloom is brief, unapologetically so, and in that short window they offer everything — grace, abundance, and a gentle ache of transience. A reminder that nothing needs to endure forever to be meaningful.

Each blossom is delicate yet resolute: paper-thin petals, golden stamens, and a fragrance so subtle it asks you to lean closer. The tree stands in full bloom knowing the fall will come soon — and blooms anyway.

Japanese Cherry whispers an ancient truth: there is courage in opening fully, even when you know the moment will pass.

This how "wearing different hats" look like 😅.

Featuring my customized print with natural flowers.

One of these customized prints featuring natural flowers is included in my

Hand watercolor retouched, signed and with hand written quote and flower name (common and in Latin).

Normally I offer pressed flowers as an advent calendar, but after the holiday season I’ll be adding a year-round box for all flower enthusiasts who love using dried blooms for journaling and sketching.

Day 10 of

Meet Spring Vetchling — the quiet woodland gem that arrives before the forest fully wakes, carrying stories of renewal, inner strength, and promises kept beneath bare branches 🌱✨

You’ll find Spring Vetchling nestled at woodland edges and forest floors, blooming just as winter loosens its grip. Its jewel-toned petals — soft purples, pinks, and blues — glow against the muted browns of early spring, like a secret meant only for those who walk slowly enough to notice.

Long associated with loyalty, endurance, and hope, Spring Vetchling blooms early and without spectacle. It doesn’t climb or shout for attention; instead, it stands calmly, rooted and self-assured, trusting that light will return. A symbol of quiet perseverance — the kind that survives cold seasons and still chooses to flower.

Its beauty lies in restraint: satin-smooth petals, a gentle color shift as the bloom matures, and a presence that feels deeply grounded. It reminds us that beginnings don’t have to be loud to be powerful.

A soft truth to carry forward: growth often happens in silence, and the most meaningful blooms are the ones that arrive faithfully, year after year 🌸💜

Day 9 of

Meet Sweet Pea — the flutter-petaled muse of cottage gardens, carrying stories of tenderness, gentle affection, and the soft goodbyes of a beautiful moment 🌸✨

You’ll often find Sweet Pea climbing lightly along fences and trellises, its tendrils reaching for sunlight with effortless grace. Their fragrance drifts ahead of them — sweet, nostalgic, almost like a memory brushing past your shoulder.

Sweet Pea has long been cherished as a flower of gratitude and delicate joy. In Victorian gardens it symbolized the sweetness of a moment worth remembering — a gesture of thanks, a cherished friendship, a fleeting moment of happiness that lingers in the heart long after it passes.

Its nature is all softness: fragile petals, wandering stems, a scent that feels like spring’s first warm breath. But behind that softness lies resilience — a plant that climbs, stretches, and reaches upward, no matter how modest the support.

A quiet reminder: even the gentlest beauty can be strong, and gratitude, when expressed sincerely, becomes its own kind of blooming. 🌸💗

Day 8 of
Meet Valerian Flower — the quiet healer of the meadow, soft as a whisper yet powerful as deep rest 🌸🌙

You might pass it by on a woodland edge or breezy hillside, noticing only its gentle clusters of pale pink blooms swaying like tiny clouds. But Valerian has a presence you feel before you truly see it — a calming energy woven into its roots and petals.

Its secret? A soothing, earthy scent and centuries-old reputation as nature’s lullaby. Long before sleep teas and tinctures, people turned to Valerian to ease restless minds, unwind tense bodies, and invite a sense of grounded peace.

Valerian thrives in moist meadows and riverbanks, standing tall and elegant even in wild, untamed places. It’s a plant of paradoxes: delicate flowers above, strong and deeply anchoring roots below — serenity rising from the earth.

A quiet reminder: sometimes the most powerful forms of comfort grow in silence, waiting for us to slow down and notice. 🌸✨
