Who is excited about the in April? I cannot wait, and we are preparing the yarn for the festival.

It is the time of the year again when we announce our Advent Season-inspired yarn box collection.

The box is perfect for a yarn lover and is an ideal gift for a crafty friend.

2022 colors are inspired by regions where yarn making and knitting is an ancestral tradition. We will travel around South & Noth America, Scandinavia, The British Isles, Eastern & Western Europe, and end in Australia & New Zealand.

If you enjoyed last year’s collection, this year it will be even better! We are not only including five full skeins but five mini skeins to go with. Perfect for sock knitting!

Expect to receive semi-solids, variegated, and subtle speckled colorways. All the colors will be new and have never been released, so they are exclusive to this Advent box. You can combine the skeins for a single project or use them individually to knit socks.

Starting on Sunday, November 27th, you will be able to open the packages in order or as you wish. The yarn will be individually wrapped and numbered.

Our box includes:

- Five full skeins + 5 mini skeins; one for each Sunday of Advent + one to open on Christmas Day of our GOTS Certified 100% Organic Merino Wool Fi*****ng with approx 395m/100g
- A sock pattern by Isalloni Knits (English or German)

I have been working on this order for the past two days, and I am so keen to see what it will become.

This is the Grey Luxus Angel base in laceweight in Antique colorway. A delightful combination of 70% Light Grey Baby Alpaca, 20% Silk, and 10% Cashmere, a dream to work with. Each skein of 100gr has 800m, plenty of metrage to create beautiful pieces.

This yarn is excellent for comfortable and durable garments, hats, mittens, and scarves. The 19.5 microns of this fiber make a fabric soft and exquisite that can be worn next to the skin.

SYRACUSE is a special edition base for fancy socks because of the strength of the Nylon and the spark of the Silver Stellina. Combined with the soft Merino, these make a perfect blend to enjoy knitting every stitch.

We are so exited to announce the first Isalloni Advent Yarn Box for the Holiday Season. We have been working in the background to put together a very limited number of boxes to pre-order.

Our box will contain four full skeins for each Sunday of Advent + One Full Skein for Christmas day. The fibre content is our GOTS Certified 100% Organic Merino Wool with approx 395m/100g.

The colour theme will be inspired by the Swiss Alps Landscapes. You can expect to receive four semi solids colours and one subtle speckled skeins or yarn. You will be able to combine the skeins for a single project or use them individually.

Each skein will be wrapped, numbered and delivered in a beautiful gift box. Some goodies will be also included.

Each box will have a price of 170 CHF + postage.

The pre-order will be open on August 7th and the boxes will be shipped at the end of October.

The illustration of this post was inspired by a picture I took in Zermatt back in 2017 during a sheep festival. You can see the Star of Bethlehem over the lovely pine trees and the Walliser Schwarznasenschafe, which I love so much.

B I G A N N O U N C E M E N T:

Starting next Saturday, March 20th we will be offering our yarns at the shop in Winterthur, Switzerland. We could not be happier and more exited about this collaboration.

My relationship with N13 dates back to March 2017, when I first visited the store. I discovered their yarn, first via the Internet, and I found out they offered other fantastic products besides yarn, so I decided to pay a visit. I instantly fell in love with the shop, and I got to know the amazing people running it, Dominique and Mirjam.

I always toyed with the idea of offering my yarn in a shop, outside a festival or my own website, but not in any store: it had to be N13. And now this dream has become reality.
