I had this idea floating around in my head and brought it to Sabine and honestly, she exceeded every expectation.

Made from recycled and repurposed materials, it’s everything I wanted and more.

If you have pieces sitting around you don’t want to waste and you’re in Rarotonga, she can turn them into something special. You can find her on the backroad Nikao or on Saturdays at the Punanga Nui Market across from our Ko’u stall!

The love and honest creativity she pours into her work is something else. So grateful for you Sabine!

I’m feeling so many emotions today — both sad and excited! 💛

Ko’u spent her very last day at Spot #15 in the Punanga Nui Market, the same spot we’ve called home ever since the borders reopened after COVID. We will miss you #15! Thank you for being so good to us!

I just want to say the biggest thank you to everyone who has supported Ko’u along the way — our wonderful tent setup team, the amazing market management, our lovely neighboring vendors, and of course, our beautiful customers who showed up rain or shine.
You’ve all been part of this journey in such a special way.

It was a very emotional day for me personally. I took time to really soak it all in and reminisce about all the Saturdays in #15 — the sunshine & crazy humidity, the open air, the wild wind, and even the moments of panic every time the weather forecast mentioned rain 😂. I’m going to miss it all so much.

A heartfelt thank you to ma chérie Mena and my dear friend Hereani — you two have been my rocks in Spot #15, and I truly couldn’t have done it without you both. I’m forever grateful 🥹

So it’s a Ka Kite to #15, and Kia Orana to #28 at our new spot at Te Tapora Kai, right at The Terevete Park! 🌺
